AroundTogether with the Spirit of Canada Open 60

A unique opportunity to sail your name around the world on the new Spirit of Canada, an Open 60 racing sailboat, that will represent Canada in the Vendee Globe Around the World Race in 2008/09. The Vendee is a solo non-stop race around the world that is run every 4 years, it should take about 84 days to complete.

During the Around Alone 2002/03, more than 2,500 individuals and corporations sailed around the world with Derek and Spirit of Canada. This support, both emotional and financial, propelled the Spirit of Canada Team to achieve an amazing result for Canada. This is your invitation to race on Spirit of Canada - the Open 60, again built by Canadians for one reason - to be raced around the world single-handed, and win. Your name on the boat will offer financial and moral support to Derek as he takes on the world, in what is billed as the hardest, longest non-stop race in the world.

With your donation, you will receive the following items along with a chance to win a trip to the start line in France. You will also be recognized as an official Spirit of Canada Team Member on our website.
